The Alpinestars Tech-1 KX v3 FIA Shoes are an upgrade to the previous KX v2 Shoes, but now feature the latest FIA Karting Homologation making them legal for both domestic and international kart racing.

The KX v3 Karting Shoes continue to use Alpinestars innovative lacing system in a lightweight chassis with an easy rolling heal, reinforcement for additional protection, and now with the new FIA8877-2022 kart safety standard.

These karting shoes use the "Speed Top" lace closure system that allows the shoes to be quickly tightened with a tug of the laces and cinched into place with an adjustable retainer. The process reverses for shoe removal allowing for incredibly quick ease of entry & extraction without the hassle of tying shoe laces. There is also a velcro strap that keeps the closure system secure and out of the way of snags. The entire lace closure system is attached to elastic bands throughout the shoe to ensure even tightening throughout the body of the foot for a precise fit.
