The Bell XD7 Ultra helmet upgrades the XD7 with a
full carbon fiber construction for additional lightness and strength. This helmet continues to improve on the GTX.3's dirt racing heritage while integrating all of Bell's latest technical advancements. The XD7 carries both of the newest
Snell SA2025 & FIA8859-2024 homologations.
The Bell XD7 ULTRA stands at the pinnacle of dirt track racing helmets with a specialized aero design. It features a shell integrated spoiler with built-in extraction vents that excels at high levels of airflow while keeping the dirt out! It is constructed from carbon fiber to make an extremely lightweight helmet ready for the highest levels of competition.
The XD7 builds off the lineage of Bell's previous GTX.3 series of dirt track racing helmets. These helmets have been a mainstay at tracks across the country and are proven, durable performers for many top drivers.
The XD7 Ultra uses an
extremely lightweight carbon fiber shell saving
over 100 grams versus the base XD7. This shell is molded with a brand new aero profile- now featuring an
integrated rear spoiler built directly into the shell of the helmet for enhanced high-speed stability. On the backside of the spoiler are
exhaust vents that work with the rear racing chin bar vents creating a Venturi ventilation system. This allows for significant air movement through helmet
without allowing dirt and dust into the helmet.
The XD7 Ultra uses an optical grade
SE07 Double Screen Anti Fog (DSAF) shield, with variable thickness exceeding 5mm in the field of vision, setting a new standard for clarity and fog control. The shield seal has also been improved with the introduction of a rubber gasket ensuring that air and water especially in wet conditions can't penetrate the helmet through the eyeport.
New for this version of the XD7 Ultra is the addition
Bell's SmartLock visor system. This mechanism ensures the shield is locked firmly in place during any collision while also allowing easy opening and closing via a depressible tab. This development improves safety and is being implemented across Bell's pro level helmet lineup.
The Bell XD7 is designed from the ground up to provide the features dirt track racers need. The helmet's chin guard face piece is removable and the integrated channels offer multiple options to install integrated drinking tube systems and radio microphone systems. The helmet comes with earpads installed, but is available with noise-reducing earcups as well.
HANS anchors are also factory installed as standard equipment!
