The Bell XD7 has been designed specifically for the unique demands of dirt track racing! The chin bar utilizes rear facing air intakes while a shell integrated spoiler uses built-in extraction vents to maintain high levels of airflow while keeping the dirt out!
The XD7 continues the lineage of Bell's GTX.3 series of dirt track racing helmets- a longtime mainstay at tracks across the country and a durable, reliable choice for many top drivers.
Constructed from a
lightweight carbon/fiberglass composite shell molded to an all-new aero profile, with an
integrated rear spoiler built directly into the shell for enhanced high-speed stability.
Exhaust vents on the back of the spoiler pair with the rear facing chin bar vents to create a Venturi ventilation system- moving significant air through the helmet
without letting dirt and dust in.
A high clarity
SE07 Double Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) shield is employed while the shield seal has been improved with the introduction of a rubber gasket ensuring that air, water, and dirt can't penetrate the helmet through the eyeport.
Another update is the addition
Bell's SmartLock visor system. This mechanism ensures the shield is locked firmly in place during any collision while also allowing easy opening and closing via a depressible tab. This safety improvement is being implemented across Bell's pro level helmet lineup.
Every detail of the Bell XD7 is built around what dirt track racers actually need. The chin guard face piece is removeable and features integrated channels, giving you multiple routing options for drink and radio systems. It ships ready to run with earpads installed, with noise-reducing earcups available when you want to cut the noise. Additionally,
HANS anchors come factory-installed as standard equipment.
