The Bell XR7 Ultra upgrades the XR7 with
full carbon fiber construction for added lightness and strength. It builds on the GP.3's asphalt racing heritage while integrating all of Bell's latest technical advancements. It carries both the latest
Snell SA2025 and FIA8859-2024 homologations.
The XR7 Ultra is an elite asphalt and road racing helmet. It carries over the XR7 PRO's excellent ventilation- including the shell-integrated spoiler with built-in extraction vents and pairs it with full carbon fiber construction for an extremely lightweight helmet built for the highest levels of competition.
The XR7 builds on Bell's proven GP.3 series of asphalt racing helmets that are a mainstay at tracks across the country as a durable, reliable choice for many top drivers.
The XR7 Ultra features an
extremely lightweight carbon fiber shell saving
over 100 grams versus the base XR7. This shell is molded to an all-new aero profile, with an
integrated rear spoiler built into the shell for enhanced high-speed stability.
Exhaust vents on the back of the spoiler work with the two sets of chin bar vents to form a Venturi ventilation system drawing significant air through the helmet while exhausting hot air out the back. Three additional adjustable crown vents let you fine-tune airflow.
The XR7 Ultra uses an optical grade
SE07 Double Screen Anti Fog (DSAF) shield, with variable thickness exceeding 5mm in the field of vision, setting a new standard for clarity and fog control. The shield seal has also been improved with the introduction of a rubber gasket ensuring that air and water especially in wet conditions can't penetrate the helmet through the eyeport.
New for this version of the XR7 Ultra is the addition
Bell's SmartLock visor system. This mechanism ensures the shield is locked firmly in place during any collision while also allowing easy opening and closing via a depressible tab. This development improves safety and is being implemented across Bell's pro level helmet lineup.
The Bell XR7 is designed from the ground up to provide the features asphalt and road racers need. The helmet's chin guard face piece is removable and the integrated channels offer multiple options to install integrated drinking tube systems and radio microphone systems.
HANS anchors are also factory installed as standard equipment!
