OMP is back with another benchmark for karting suits with their KS-3X. This brand-new suit features a lighter weight, better materials, and the latest FIA8877 homologation while keeping the classic, premium style OMP is renowned for.
The KS-3X karting suit features
pro level abrasion resistance without sacrificing comfort. The exterior features a range of striking color combinations all created using OMP's classic
cut, sewn, & layered construction style. The suit's interior lining has been updated to a soft-touch material that is
more breathable than previous versions, making this a great suit for hot weather racing. Additionally, there are 7 strategically placed mesh vents throughout the suit to maximize airflow.
The legs use "Euro style" elastic leg cuffs now with
stirrup straps to keep the suit securely in place when you need the protection the most. There is an elastic stretch panel on the lower back of the suit to reduce tugging while seated in the racing position. The neck collar is low cut and won't bunch up under your helmet while the arms are fully floating for ease of movement. The hips still have convenient outer pockets and to make getting in and out easier, OMP took inspiration from motorcycle racing suits in designing the KS-3's zip closure.
The KS-3X Suit continues to feature premium touches such as the multiple embroidered OMP logos and built-in
shoulder extraction handles. Did we mention that the new KS-3X suit is now
over 100 grams lighter vs the previous KS-3 suit? OMP has upgraded the materials used in construction to trim additional weight off this suit without compromising its safety or comfort.
