Take several measurements. The largest measurement is the one you want to use.
Proper helmet fit is vital to the performance of a helmet. For the helmet to perform properly during an impact, it must stay securely on the head. Due to varying shapes, heads that are apparently the same size when measured may not necessarily fit the same size helmet. A small metal tape measure or a cloth tape may be used to make your initial measurement.
You can also use a string, which can then be laid against a tape measure.
Measure the circumference of the head at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement.

Snell Rating:
The Snell / FIA CMR2016 standard certifies a helmet for use in competitive children's kart racing. Unlike other Snell ratings, the CMR2016 rating does not expire after 10 years and is the latest Snell youth rating available.
Safety Note:
This helmet is intended for use in kart racing
only
. It
should not
be used in any type of racing where fire is a concern. If racing with a roll cage and multi-point harnesses, use an
auto racing helmet
instead.
